My name is Candis Hidalgo, a licensed Texas Realtor and the one behind the Houston Texas Life blog and YouTube channel. I created these resources to help people who are thinking of moving to the greater Houston area! There are so many diverse options for where to live in Houston, so we feature homes, neighborhoods and communities all across the greater Houston area.

I’m happily married to my husband of 15 years, a mom of 4 crazy kids aged 7-13, and a dog mom of two Goldadors. We relocated from California to Texas a few years ago and absolutely love it here!
